Lucio Volcov

Born and raised in Italy with Moldovan roots, Lucio has been dancing for as long as he can remember — first vibing to MTV with his mom, then stepping into ballet at seven and never stopping. His path eventually led him to Zurich, where he studied contemporary dance at ZHdK and earned his bachelor’s degree.

He describes himself as honest to a fault, a little unhinged, always unfiltered — and his dancing mirrors that: humour and depth tangled together, passion that runs high, emotions that sometimes overflow. He jokes that his resting face can look intimidating, but once you get past that, he’s a surprisingly good hang (just not for everyone, and he’s fine with that).

Now he brings that mix of sharpness, sincerity and chaos to PDC14.
