The NITE Hotel

The NITE hotel is a virtual theatre platform housing custom made, collaborative performances and exchanges between artists and audiences.
The NITE Hotel
As a multipurpose online environment that was cultivated during the COVID 19 lockdown, a necessity to be together resulted in online collaborative possibilities. In the 3-dimensional environment new works are presented, specifically made for the platform, such as Swan Lake The Game, The Drunken Ones and Uncle Vanya. Now that theatres open again the Nite Hotel is used as a place for context programmes supporting the real life creations.
ArtsMap’s “Sustain the Stage!”, InogarArt, DASDAS, Dutch Culture and the Dutch Embassy Istanbul brought together the best practice examples from the performing arts to inspire and show different ways of sustainability forms during Covid times. The NITE HOTEL was named BEST PRACTICE of online performing arts during the pandemic.
NITE Hotel is also available as a hosting ground, an exchange platform and virtual conference room, such as presenting the Eurosonic European Border Breaking Awards, Korzo’s Exploring New Grounds, and the Dutch Theatre Festival including the NITE Symposium on new digital theatre and dance initiatives.
