Sanne den Hartogh, an actor among dancers
Sanne den Hartogh (1981) graduated from the Amsterdam drama school in 2004. He was a permanent employee at NTGent and Toneelgroep Oostpool, as a freelancer he worked for Toneelgroep Amsterdam, NNT, the RO, Het Zuidelijk Toneel and the Toneelmakerij, among others. His favourite performances were Waiting for Godot and Till the fat lady sings, both directed by Erik Whien and Meneer van Ooyen, a music theater performance based on interviews with a prisoner in the Bijlmerbajes. He was nominated for the Louis d’Or for his performance of the ‘Wereldverbeteraar’ at Theater Rotterdam and for the Arlecchino for the role of Kil in The Family at Theater Utrecht. He played in several films and television series, including A’dam – E.V.A and De Vloer Op. Sanne teaches at the drama schools in Arnhem and Utrecht.
In Club Guy & Roni’s Swan Lake, Sanne proves to be a multi-talented artist. He is able to blend his acting skills with the graceful movements of a ballet dancer.
