A collaborative performance by the LasTesis collective and NITE junior company NITE Riders.
Between AI fiction and a concert, the performance addresses the construction of narratives from digital platforms, the creation and wide spreading of content, its biases, strengths and dangers.
Inspired by the book ‘Is Now The Time For Joyous Rage?’ (2023) and ideas by Judith Butler, Sara Ahmed and Mark Fisher, ‘KILLJOY-TO-BE’ reflects in a fun, funny and super musical way on gender mandates, patriarchal and capitalist structures and the recent rise of fascism.
